I photograph people and products. Portraits, fashion, athletes, and conceptual work where the image gets built from an idea rather than found in a moment — and commercial work for brands that need more than a clean shot on a white background.

What interests me isn't making a subject look good — plenty of photographers do that well. It's finding the thing a straight photograph walks right past, and then constructing an image around it. Sometimes that takes a studio and two hours. Sometimes it takes a set, a location and a month of planning.

I have also spent years in the corporate world evaluating and approving image production for consumer brands. I know how a shoot gets judged from the client's side of the table, and what makes an image worth what it costs.

I work out of Mexico City. My work has been selected for the World Photographic Cup Global Top 10 and the Master Class Photographers Awards, and exhibited in New York, Moscow, Oslo and Buenos Aires. Concept, shoot and edit are all mine — I don't subcontract.
